The most dangerous blade you’ll ever use is a dull blade.

Sharpening your blades is as critical a skill as any in your wood shop, and it’s as much art as it is science and technique. A sharp blade makes clean, intentional cuts — and is much safer to use than a dull blade.

In this seminar, you’ll learn how to properly and consistently sharpen chisels, plane irons, and card scrapers to ensure they are as effective for you as they need to be. From tips and tricks to best practices, stemming from decades of experience in hand-sharpening both vintage and modern tools, Mr. Sawdust will show you how to keep all of your blades razor sharp.

This is a Saturday seminar, running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Registration is $250 per person. See our Course Calendar for dates, and enroll here.
