At Mr. Sawdust School of Professional Woodworking, we understand that not everyone can devote several weeks to learning the craft. That's why we’re now offering woodworking seminars tailored for busy individuals who are eager to develop their woodworking skills but have limited time on their hands. Our seminars are one-day, condensed courses, focusing on the essential techniques and knowledge needed to expand your woodworking skills. These seminars provide hands-on experience, interactive demonstrations, and practical tips that can be applied immediately. If you have a Saturday to spare, our woodworking seminars offer a time-efficient way to acquire valuable woodworking skills and unleash your creativity with wood.

Wally was the first winner of the Excellence in Craftsmanship award, sponsored by American Woodworker Magazine. He has created fine furniture and cabinetry for private clients and museums alike - and now he’s bringing the Mr. Sawdust School of Professional Woodworking back to pass his knowledge to everyone, from amateurs to seasoned pros.
Grants and Scholarships
On behalf of CRAFTS of NJ, the Micalizzi Scholarship Grant is available for prospective students of the Mr. Sawdust School of Professional Woodworking. This grant is available to NJ residents, 23 years of age or younger, that meet the additional application criteria set forth by CRAFTS of NJ. The Mr. Sawdust School of Professional Woodworking would like to thank CRAFTS of NJ for their generosity in helping to equip the next generation of woodworkers with the skills they need to hone their craft!
